"I love Zappos! Super fast shipping! In fact, I just want to order more stuff from Zappos because of the incredible shipping speed. Oh and the shoes are awesome, fit true to size and the colors are really nice. They go great with everything. Only problem with these shoes is that the back is really stiff and they dig into your heels, which is really, really painful if you walk around in them for extended periods of time. But after they are broken in, the problem goes away and they feel well. Overall great kicks, awesome styling, will be purchasing more stuff from Zappos!"

"It's very comfortable and warmer than those with mesh, but the tongue is shorter than pictured and have to constantly pull it up as there is no cross strip to put laces through to keep it from going back down into shoe. It's hard to get on, as you have to try to hold tongue up in place while slipping foot down in to shoe."

I often buy Saucony shoes because my foot is made more narrow at the heel and wider at the toes. This particular pair of shoes seems to feel slightly smaller than most of my Saucony shoes in the past, and I have had trouble keeping my socks from disappearing into my shoes. Those small issues aside, it is a very nice and pretty shoe that is comfortable and well-made.

"I walk three miles, four times a week. I have tried a lot of so called walking shoes and these are the best that I've run across. Some were too flat on the bottom and did not adapt to walking. Others were running shoes and did not have the cushioning in the right places. So far they seem to be holding up just fine but if they wear out, I would buy another pair."

Also since I have owned the shoe before, I find that is lasts for weeks and even survives after getting wet (as we have here in the Pacific Northwest). Other brands often fall apart after a season. "Really like this shoe! Very good styling and ultra comfort. My only issue (and this pertains to my own high arch) is that the shoelaces seem a bit short. This may be because my arch "issue" pushes up my foot, thereby causing me to have to use a longer shoelace. This does not take away from my very positive rating of this shoe."

"Trail running and snowshoe running in cooler weather, can be warmer than other shoes in hot weather, but with gaiter use, they keep out fine dirt that shoes with the mesh let in. Have had 3 pairs, my current pair has breaks in each of the laces, retied them so now the laces are short and the shoes hard to get in to, but ready for a replacement soon anyway, will buy the same again, [...]"

"Finally something I am comfortable in! You name it; I have had foot problems since I was 8 or so. I have worn and tried everything. Everything that you buy has such pointed toes and is not good for anyone. I decided to try the Brooks brand this time, as I have become dissatisfied with New Balance. I pronate and have mortons neuroma, and it does not take much walking before my feet are so painful that I wish I could take my shoes off and walk barefoot. So I bought these in a size 9 1/2 and sent back for a 10, and the fit is perfect. When I put them on to go somewhere, I took another pair of shoes with me, and I never had to change them. I never get through a day wearing any shoes for the first time. I always have to wear orthotics in my shoes, which these would take, but so far, I have not had to put them in. I am well pleased and would certainly buy the product again. I pay a lot of attention to customer reviews before I buy anything, and the reviews were great. "This is a great unisex, comfortable shoe that can be used with orthotics for all those athletic injuries that come back to haunt us when we grow a bit long in the tooth. It is also a good shoe for students who have long treks through school or college. It has great sole padding for those of us who are on our feet all day schlepping away at a job. Conversely, (a shoe joke) it is great for travelling; expecially when there is a lot of touring and standing in line to be done. For church choir, it gives you a lovely black shoe to go with the robe with great tread to prevent you from falling or slipping on a stone or marble floor. It is a bit pricey, but it can be worn every day for a year without looking too bad."
